The Mona Lisa Look

Sometimes you just connect with someone. You look at eachother and instantly you know you're a match. I love looking at proofs and feeling that connection again in the picture. This is Noah and what I love about this capture is that it has the classic Mona Lisa look. No matter where you go to look at him, he is looking at you. Six weeks young and such character.

Remembering Why

I had the opportunity to photography my first baby for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Baby L was born very premature and had a difficult delivery. As a result, he had grave internal damage and lived a little more than two weeks before passing.

The family was the most amazing family I have ever worked with. They radiated with a strength and love that is transcends the most tragic of circumstances. As I worked with the family, trying to preserve precious moments and feelings, I was truly humbled. I photograph to freeze moments in time. Moments can be smiles or frowns, laughter or tears, sheepish grins or thoughtful stares. Life is complex and detailed; it is not one dimensional. Even in the most trying of moments, there are moments to remember and preserve with love.

Bloggint Take Two

It seems that life moves so quickly so I'm revamping this this blog to be more business related and allow clients to be updated. This will be a place for me to share recent sessions, update people and customers on new things that are happening with Tara Sinclair Hingco Art & Design. I will also lend some photography tips and share some snippets of my real life.

Fall Sessions - Limited: Just a reminder that if you have a gift certificate, trunk show special, please call me as soon as possible to schedule your session. Fall is filling up very quickly with only a few Saturday sessions remaining. All spots not filled before December will have to wait for my maternity leave return. I will be calling outstanding clients to remind them to book before spots are gone.

Holiday Time: Also, keep an eye out for holiday cut-off order timelines. I will be announcing this in early September.

Babies, Babies and more Babies: If you are expecting a baby, please call ahead to schedule your newborn session or Baby & Belly package. September is awaiting the arrival of many new ones so be sure to come back to see all the little new arrivals.
